On Wednesday 1986-01-15 I looked out of my window over Vasterlanggatan several times between approximately 15:40 and 16:00.
Two or three times I saw a tall man standing opposite Vasterlanggatan 31. He was about 190 cm high and heavily built, with dark blond hair:
I thought that he was Swedish or Northern European.
He was standing to the side of the fruit shop, and slightly into the alley. He was wearing a raincoat of a fairly light colour.
There may have been a second man with him, who was smaller and darker, but I have a much less clear memory of him.
The third or fourth time I looked out of the window, the tall man was no longer there, and the policeman Conny was standing opposite Vasterlanggatan 31.
I then telephoned to Mr Palme, and went down into the street to give him some papers to take to India.
I spoke to Conny and continued to the newsagent.
Mr Palme came down with Kjell Lindström, and I gave him the papers.
He then got into the car on Storkyrkobrinken and went to the airport. I did not see the tall man again.
